Energy Label

An Energy Label is a standardized classification system that measures and communicates the annual energy consumption of a building. Required by law in EU member states, it applies to both residential and commercial properties during sales and lettings transactions.

The label reflects performance across heating, cooling, hot water, and lighting. For investors and commercial real estate professionals, the rating directly affects operating costs, tenant appeal, and asset value. Properties with higher ratings (A–B) command premium valuations and lower occupancy risk. The assessment accounts for building fabric quality, HVAC systems, age, and technical installations.
