Office unit

An office unit is a defined office space that functions as a separate leasable or sellable entity within a larger building. It may consist of a single room, a suite of connected offices, or an entire floor, and typically has its own entrance while accessing shared amenities such as corridors, stairwells, and restrooms provided by the building owner or landlord.

Office units in commercial real estate are measured in square metres (net or gross usable area) and are typically let under standardized lease agreements with fixed service charges. Unit sizes range from dozens to thousands of square metres depending on tenant requirements and available building stock.
