Outbuilding
An outbuilding is an independent structure erected on the same parcel as the principal building, with its own foundation and distinct functionality. It typically provides supplementary space for storage, workshops, parking, equipment, or mechanical systems.
In commercial real estate, examples include storage sheds adjacent to retail premises, parking structures near office buildings, or utility buildings housing technical installations. Outbuildings are registered separately in cadastral records and property valuations, reflecting their subordinate role to the primary asset on the site.
