Estate Manager (rental)
An estate manager (or rental manager) acts as an agent for the property owner, handling tenant relations and financial operations. Responsibilities include collecting rents and other revenues, arranging maintenance and repairs, paying charges and property taxes, and maintaining accounts and records. This role is typical in cases of leasehold properties, shared ownership arrangements, and larger real estate portfolios.
The estate manager is generally compensated through a percentage of collected income and operates under the owner's instruction or oversight of a management committee. This position is particularly common in the Netherlands and Belgium.
