Rotterdam-Zuid is the side of the Maas where the city has changed the most over the past twenty years. Getting there

Metro lines D and E run straight through Zuid (Wilhelminaplein, Rijnhaven, Maashaven, Zuidplein), Rotterdam Zuid station has sprinter trains to Centraal and Dordrecht, and trams run along Laan op Zuid and Beijerlandselaan. By car via the Erasmusbrug, the Maastunnel (A4, A15) and the Van Brienenoordbrug (A16); Zuidplein and Ahoy sit right on the A15 and the Vaanweg. Outside Kop van Zuid, parking is generally easier and cheaper than in the centre.
